About
Find Your Flow.
Flow State Review is an independent guide to mountain experiences, resorts and destinations. We help you work out where to go, what to do when you get there and who to contact next.
What we cover
Experiences.
Guided heli-skiing, cat-skiing, backcountry touring, and snowshoe and snowmobile tours across British Columbia, with 90 operator profiles so far. Dates, programs, prices and bookings stay with the operator; we link to their official site rather than taking a reservation.
Resort Guide.
The mountains we track across British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest, with stats, seasons and official links. Some have full guides; others are short factual listings. We don't state live snowfall, lift status or prices ourselves: those stay with the resort.
Destinations.
Town guides that bring together the nearby resorts, guided experiences, local shops and how to get there.
Gear Guide: our 2026/27 listings of current-season gear, with older listings kept in a product archive.
Everything published so far is winter. We add a new kind of guide only when there's verified content to fill it.
Independent by design
Flow State Review is an independent guide. Our editorial decisions are ours, and payment never decides them.
- Payment never decides a conclusion, a ranking or the order of results.
- Editorial reviews and ordinary listings are never for sale. Every operator, resort and destination is held to the same standards, whether or not they have a commercial relationship with us.
- We say how something was tested, or say plainly that we haven't tested it. We don't publish scores, awards or "best" lists.
- Corrections are welcome on every page, and an editor reviews each one before anything changes.
How commercial content is labelled
Right now, nothing published on Flow State Review is paid for. If that changes, any commercial content will carry one of these two labels:
- Commission link — Flow State Review may earn a commission from eligible bookings.
- Paid content — Produced for [business name].
A label appears right next to the link or content it describes: on the link itself, at the top of a paid film or story, and on any card that leads to it. It is never tucked away in a footer or left to this page alone. We use commission links only where referral terms have been agreed in writing. Paid content is produced for a named business and says so.
A label marks a commercial relationship. It doesn't change our editorial guides, reviews or ordinary listings, and an operator's profile looks the same whether or not they work with us.
Local shops
Shops and specialists can ask to be included or claim their listing. An editor verifies details before anything is published.
