Fraser Valley, Agassiz area

Sasquatch Mountain Resort

Small, inland and considerably less busy than the North Shore. Sasquatch sits east of Vancouver above the Fraser Valley, where colder, drier conditions can beat coastal rain on a marginal weekend.

A quieter inland alternative when the North Shore is crowded or wet.

Terrain and ability

  • Beginner: uncrowded learning terrain, which is a real advantage for a nervous first day.
  • Intermediate: a good spread of groomed runs for the size of the mountain.
  • Advanced: limited in scale, though tree and off piste options exist in the right conditions.

Getting there

  • Roughly a two hour drive east of Vancouver, with a steep final access road.
  • Winter tyres or chains are required. The access road is the part to plan for, not the highway.
  • Parking at the base, with on mountain accommodation available.

Tickets and passes

  • Day tickets and season passes are sold by the resort.
  • Often cheaper than the larger mountains. Confirm operating days before driving out, as the schedule is smaller.

We do not list prices. Official tickets and passes →

Access for 2026/27: resort season pass

  • Not on the Epic Pass or the Ikon Pass.
  • Access is the resort's own season pass or a day ticket.

Official season passes

  • Season passes are sold by the resort, and often priced below the larger mountains. The official pass page now lists 2026/27 pricing, even though its page title still reads 2025/26.
  • Worth comparing against a North Shore pass if you would rather drive further for quieter snow.

Passes are sold by the resort, and we do not list prices or take a cut. Official season passes →
