Terrain and ability

  • Beginner: excellent. Gentle pitches and short lifts keep a first day manageable.
  • Intermediate: a handful of good runs and park features, best treated as a half day or evening.
  • Advanced: thin. Treat Seymour as a session mountain rather than a steeps day.

Seymour has a long standing park and freestyle culture for its size, so it suits progression on features.

Getting there

  • About 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver by the resort's count, up Mt Seymour Road.
  • Winter tyres or chains are required on the access road in winter.
  • Parking is free but fills quickly. A shuttle runs from North Vancouver in winter.
